Hot Stone Massage “The Chocolate of Massage”

Stone face massage

Hot Stone Massage – 2 Day – $695

Hot Stone Massage is becoming increasingly popular in clinics, spas and relaxation centres around the globe.  Not only is it the most enjoyable, luxurious massage available, but the therapeutic thermal effects of the hot stones are numerous. The superficial heat helps to improve blood flow by causing vasodilation, an increase in size of blood vessels. With the improved blood flow there is improved oxygenation in the body and potentially more healing into the area.

Learning this deeply relaxing massage will not only appeal to a wider range of clients, but using the heat of the stones it is easy on the therapists hands, joints and muscles, which may increase the longevity of their massage career.

In this course you will learn how to use heated stones and chilled stones coupled with long, luxurious, Swedish massage strokes to create a blissful, luxurious, nurturing, deeply relaxing massage that reduces stress and eases tight muscles and joints.  Cocooned in warmth, watch your clients float into a state of deep meditation and bliss with our Hot Stone Massage.

(Attracts 16 ATMS 16 Continuing Professional Education Points)

Prerequisite: Swedish Massage

This course is aimed at Massage therapists, Aromatherapists, Beauticians and Relaxation Massage Specialists.

Hot Stone Massage is becoming increasingly popular in beauty clinics, luxury spas and wellness centers around the world.

The application of alternating hot and cold stones, creates the deepest thermo-therapeutic healing by relaxing the muscles, decongesting the tissues and easing sore joints.

It uses smooth, oiled, natural basalt stones to rhythmically massage the body, relieving muscle pain and inducing deep relaxation. This treatment goes beyond the physical, an unforgettable and deeply relaxing experience.

For the Therapist using stones instead of wrists and thumbs is a much healthier alternative and may aid the longevity of your career.

By learning the art of Thermotherapy (hot stones) and Cryotherapy (cold stones) you can offer clients a treatment that is not only enjoyable, but highly effective for reducing stress, anxiety, pain and poor circulation and the most blissful, mind melting massage available.

What our clients say…

My name is Francesca Biviano and up until my recent move to Queensland I owned a Beauty and Relaxation Massage business in Sydney for many years.

I attended Sarah’s Hot Stone Massage course to learn a new treatment for my clients and to update my skills.  It was a great course with great content.  I knew after completing the course this would benefit my clients.  I particularly enjoyed the large hands-on component of the course.

Imemdiately after doing the course the feedback from my clients was amazing they absolutely loved their hot stone massage.  Not only did they feel totally relaxed, they actually felt so much better mentally and physically.

I have certainly have been blessed to have found Sarah.  My new techniques have certainly paid off not only within my business, but it also has improved my passion for massage and made me a better therapist.

Sarah’s years of experience and knowledge was really apparent.  Sarah’s dedication, love of teaching and wanting her students to succeed was evident throughout the course.

Thank you Sarah for a great course.  I am forever grateful.
